ApeTrully

ApeTrully is the eccentric, well-meaning leader of the peace-making force known as Big Green. Commander ApeTrully formed Big Green in hopes of restoring friendship between animals and humans. This reunion is, however, not easily achieved and certainly not through ApeTrully's rather naive peace negotiations which begin with an offer of gold and usually end with ApeTrully being captured by the enemy. ApeTrully is actually the 33rd Monkey King, but hides his true identity because he mistakenly believes that the Heroes of Big Green will never follow a monkey. So, he wears a disguise that looks more like a monkeys idea of a human than a human itself. ApeTrully is well schooled and knows a great deal of archaic knowledge of the land. He learned the Human Language from the Parrot King in the times before the war. He is also known for uttering sweet, inexplicable exclamations such as "Sweet Banana Pudding!" and "What in the name of monkey crumbs?" He flies a personal helicopter, closely followed by the Big Green Air Force or Army for his own protection. ApeTrully keeps a bag of bananas in a safe in his headquarters and often tells the bananas how much he loves them. He is also rather obsessed with neatness and stacking games.

HighRoller

HighRoller was once a happy court jester, laughing and playing games. But, in a typically arrogant move, he insulted the former Emperor of the Hidden Kingdom and was immediately cast from the great East Citadel. He wandered alone in the forest, brooding and learning to hate humans. As fate would have it, he was struck by lightning, and gained the ability to speak the language of animals. He quickly discovered animals great weakness for candy and bribed them with sweets. Many animals joined his cause and helped kick humans out of their homes and castles. Now animal kings and queens must pay homage to HighRoller and do his bidding. As the new Emperor of the East Citadel, HighRoller gets to do whatever he wants and what he typically wants to do is attack humans (or get animals to attack humans for him), eat candy and play games. In fact, HighRoller is a master of many folk games and these skills actually translate to the battlefield in dangerously unexpected ways. Combine this with the fact that he likes to play dirty, and HighRoller is a formidable opponent for even the most skilled members of First Squad!

Lin Chung

Lin Chung is the most skilled sniper in Big Green. The cool, silent backbone of First Squad, Hero 006 possesses the legendary Panther Eye Vision. This mysterious power allows Lin Chung to see great distances by holding his hands up to his eyes like binoculars. With Panther Eye Vision, he can also see action in slow motion while he moves at terrific speed. Lin Chung uses a long bamboo staff for his sniper gun and arms it with the extremely sharp ends of newly sprouted bamboo shoots. If his First Squad team members can’t find him, they know to look for Lin Chung in the bamboo forest where he mediates, calmly waiting for more ammunition to grow. Lin Chung's also has his "Master Stroke" in his arsenal which is devastating to all enemies. This move involves a great leap into the air while spinning his staff. He catches the staff, which propels his full body into a spin, projecting him at his opponent with massive force. Lin Chung is also an artist. He is rather obsessed with producing the perfect painting. And, although his artistic skills are not up to par when he first takes up the brush, he definitely matures and becomes quite a master. Unfortunately, he is often distracted from battle by an intriguing image that he feels he must paint.

Zebra Brothers

Sparky Black and Sparky White are twin zebra brothers with opposite coloring. Sparky B. is black with gray stripes and Sparky W. is white with gray stripes. Other than these physical characteristics, it is difficult to tell these bumbling bad guys apart. They are definitely not the brightest bulbs in the Hidden Kingdom; still, they happily serve as HighRollers chief spies. They deal directly with all animal kings and queens, offering them candy in exchange for their continued allegiance to the evil little tyrant the Zebra Brothers call Master. The boys take a great deal of pride in their close relationship with their Master HighRoller, never quite realizing he thinks they are complete buffoons. They are, however, smart enough to fear his wrath and often find themselves on the receiving end of his bad moods and retribution. Their goofball natures aside, during a full moon the Zebra Brothers can be extremely dangerous opponents. Once a month, they can harness Lunar power through their mysterious Magic Lanterns. When the lanterns kiss, the magic activates and can take on many forms. Typically though, it makes clones out of creatures it flashes upon. For the rest of the month, the Zebra Bros. can barely get a pitcher of milk to disappear into a hat. If truth be told, the Zebra Brothers are actually much happier bickering, telling stupid jokes and reading comic books than helping to defeat the Heroes of Big Green and rule the Hidden Kingdom.
